I highly recommend Eye Doctors of Washington if you are looking to get lasik! I was in the area visiting family for a few weeks and last minute decided to get lasik. Brittany and Dr. Clinch were extremely helpful answering all of my questions and making me feel comfortable through the entire process. The surgery was quick and I was able to see clearly that day. I went from having a contact prescription of -4.25 to having 20/15! I absolutely love being contact free, thank you guys!!
I've been wanting LASIK done for a few years now - and honestly have just been waiting for the right place to get the procedure done. Here enters Dr. Clinch: I’m a nurse and did a lot of research on best cataract surgeons in the metro DC area. I was willing to go anywhere to get good care. I chose Dr. Clinch and drove nearly an hour for his evaluation. He really listened to me, conducted an array of technologically advanced measurements, and assured me that I had dense cataracts and he believed he could make a big difference in my vision. That day, we scheduled my two cataract surgeries for just a month later.
I had such a great experience with Dr. Clinch, one month since my operation, and I can see perfectly with little dry eye. Brittany was so helpful and responsive to all my questions and concerns. Would definitely recommend!
Ashley Wong is simply fantastic. We've been going to her for a few years. Our daughter has had some eye troubles, and Dr. Wong has been so wonderfully helpful. She emails us on weekends. Eye Doctors of Washington has a fabulous patient education program to prep patients for surgery. I was more than ready and eager for my surgeries. In order to maximize my vision, I selected to pay out of pocket for multifocal lenses. Both surgeries, a week apart, went smoothly with negligible discomfort. Dr. Clinch also surgically corrected my astigmatism using laser and each time, he called me in the evening to check on how I was doing at home.
Some background: At least 10 years ago, I was diagnosed with early cataracts in my mid-50s by my ophthalmologist in Virginia. Annually, this eye doctor adjusted my glasses prescription and told me my cataracts weren’t ready for surgery. As the years progressed, insidiously I lost the ability to discern colors and my vision was considerably dimmed. Now aged 64, I still couldn’t convince my doctor in Virginia to operate even though the cataracts were significantly affecting my quality of life.
