My company holds workshops here every December. We use almost all their space. It's perfect for our needs, and the staff could not be more helpful. Free parking. Overnight rooms onsite. Having our funds support 4-H is an added bonus. Food is excellent. I highly recommend them!
Attended Christmas luncheon and the crab cakes were terrible, nothing but bread; the shrimp were mushy from over cooking. Really disappointed.
I stayed here with my school on our field trip to Washington DC. It was a great experience! The rooms were the perfect size, the meals were delicious with a variety of options, and there was a nice front lawn and volleyball net we could play on. The only down side was that it was off of a busy road and a little far from the center of DC. But besides that, we all had a great stay.
The National 4-H Center is the best place to stay for any event involving youth. It has wonderful meeting, conference, and lodging facilities. Located in North West DC, it is past the Embassy Row area in Chevy Chase. It's easily accessible to downtown via Metro and bus. Rates are very reasonable, and the area is very safe and accessible. Highly recommend!
Great place for a retreat. Food was decent. Facilities were clean. Our group brought our own system and the acoustics of the auditorium was somewhat difficult to work with. Other than that it was a good facility.
